What do I need to get started?+
Start with a person, a memory, or a small collection of photographs. Dates, places, letters, and family records give the story more context. You can identify gaps and add material as your story develops.
Will the story stay true to my family's history?+
Your source material should remain distinct from historical context and dramatized scenes. The script review is the place to correct names, dates, relationships, and the way important moments are portrayed before production.
Can I choose a film, a series, or an interactive story?+
Yes. Remember Machine supports family films, connected episodes, short vertical chapters, and interactive stories. Your approved sources and story revision stay attached as you plan the format and review each production step.
Can I connect my genealogy account?+
Research Pathways links to independent genealogy resources. Direct account connections and record imports are not currently available. Each resource has its own access terms and fees.
Is production available now?+
Remember Machine is open as a free private beta. Members can save private family records, develop and review story revisions, and prepare production inputs in the Family Vault. Finished media is released only after its own production and review steps. Paid plans are not open.
